Self-awareness comes from becoming conscious of your thoughts, feelings, body responses, the internal logic that shapes your choices and actions. As self-awareness develops, you get the opportunity to act rather than react, to pause and think, to develop new perspectives rather than being stuck in one mind-track.
I offer a mindfulness-oriented approach to counselling to support my clients on their journey towards self-awareness which promotes acceptance and compassion towards yourself, as well as a greater capacity to manage skillfully the challenges and stressors that life will throw at you. Increased self-awareness will also help you make decisions that will be more in line with your goals, dreams and hopes. Your relationships and your daily life will become more fulfilling.
